AGAIN REMANDED
ACCOUNTANT FACES THREE CHARGES Bernard Sidney Spencer, an accountant, aged 31, was again remanded when lie appeared at the Police Court on Thursday on three charges of theft. By arrangement between accused’s counsel, Air. Dickson, and the police, the remand was made until May 1. Spencer was charged with obtaining sums of money from A. A. Corban and Company by falsely representing that he was paying the amounts for incometax. The amounts are alleged to be £27 8s on April 23, £34 8s 4d on September 30, 1929, and £4B Is lid on Alay 23, 1929. Air. Dickson expressed the hope that the charges might eventually be taken summarily. Bail was renewed in one surety of £SOO.
