MURDER OF OLD MAN
BATTERED AND COVERED BY BAG SON ARRESTED Reed. 9.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. The police have arrested Cecil Charles, aged 53, on a charge of murdering his father, James Charles, aged 79. who was discovered dead in a paddock in the Windsor district. His head had been terribly injured. The body was covered with a neatlyfolded bag. Cecil Charles, who lives in a hut near the scene, informed the police his father had been missing since Monday afternoon. He said he could not suggest a motive for a murder.
