BRIDGE AFTERNOON
MRS. KAY-STRATTON CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY A most enjoyable birthday bridge afternoon was given by Mrs. KayStratton in the J.C.L. Tearooms yesterday afternoon. The afternoon tea tables were prettily decorated with gold and bronze chrysanthemums and gaily-coloured favours in the form of tulips, in which a present was concealed for each guest. To receive her guests Mrs. KayStratton wore a frock of bottle-green marocain relieved with fawn, and a hat in the same shades. Among those present were: Mrs. Beterson, Mrs. G. Moore (Sydney), Mrs. Fuller. Mrs. Kassens, Mrs. Tugley, Mrs. Medley, Mrs. Webster, Mrs. S. Walker, Mrs. T. Phillips, Mrs. H. Grubb, Mrs. Bright, Mrs. Smallbone, Mrs. Ilapwood, Mrs. Halpin. Mrs. Sellars, Mrs. McCarthy, Mrs. Sands, Mrs. Newey, Mrs. Hyauiason, Mrs. Freest, Miss A. Webster.
