NEW MOTOR DRIVE

OPENING CEREMONY AT MOUNT ALBERT The opening of the new motor drive j round Mount Albert and the mountain ; reserve, now known as Owairaka Park, . took place in beautiful weather on Saturday. The ceremony was performed by the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, and present with him were the Mayor and Mayoress of Mount Albert, the councillors and their wives, and members of tlie Transport Board. Music supplied by the Mount Eden Boys’ Brass Band was greatly appreciated, as also was excellent dancing, by some of the younger Afternoon tea was dispensed by the members of the To Aroha League at the conclusion of the opening ceremony.
