FIRST ANNUAL DINNER HELD

PRESENTATION OF CUPS The Auckland Girls - Cricket Association held its first annual dinner on Saturday evening-, about 90 members being present. The two days' cricket tournament just concluded 'was contested by -6 teams, and Mas won by i the Training College (A and B grades). : and the Y.W.C.A. (C grade). The I guests were entertained with dancing, i a n, i during the evening the following i cups were presented:—For best bat- 1 ting average. Miss E. Pagi; bowling. • Aliss .T. Nagle: Kohn Cup. Grammar Old Girls. The toast of the associa- : tion was proposed by Miss J. Begg. and that of the visitors by the secretary. Miss Stewart. Among those present were:—The i president. Mr. 11. Bint and Mayo. The two cups for batting and bowling respectively were given by Miss Joyce Burkill, the lion treasurer of the association.
