PLATFORM STORMED

FIGHT WITH CHAIRS AT IRISH MEETING Received 10.15 a.m. DUBLIN, Thursday. Amid cries of “Up, De Valera!” a group of men hoisted, the red flag, on which was a skull and crossbones in white, and the initials of the Irish national unemployment movement, at a meeting inaugurating the Irish Labour Party’s political campaign. Chairs were used as weapons of offence and defence, and finally interrupters stormed the platform. The police removed a number of men.
