COLLISION WITH CAR ACCIDENT NEAR WANGANUI Press Association WANGANUI, Thursday." A fatal accident occurred near Wanganui today, Mr. Archibald L. Melville, farm manager, of Turakina, being killed instantaneously when a motor-cycle he was riding collided with a three-seater car. Mr. Melville was riding to attend the Wanganui ;rotting meeting. His machine struck the left-hand front portion of a car driven by Mr. John Stewart, motor salesman, of Marton, which was .being driven from the city. The collision occurred on the Auck-iand-Wellington main highway about a mile from the Wanganui city boundary. Mr. Melville was a single man, .aged 27 years. A brother lives at Kakaramea.
