COAL DISPUTE REMAINS UNSETTLED FRUITLESS CONFERENCES SYDNEY Wednesday. Aggregate meetings of coalminers, at which the position in regard to the present dispute will be placed before the men, are to be held early next week. It is understood that the miners’ leaders will urge them to return to work on the compromise terms offered in November pending an investigation of their claims against reductions in w-ages.
