ACCIDENTS ON WHARVES

TWO MINOR CASES TREATED Two minor accident cases were treated by the St. John Ambulance Station on Queen's Wharf this morning. A stack of slag fell on Mr. Walter Oram while he was -working on the Westmoor at Central Wharf. and caught him against a truck. He received extensive bruises and a knee was injured. After attention at the ambulance station he was taken to his home at 3 Hope Street, Grey Lynn. A split finger and bruised hand were suffered by Mr. B. Quinn, of Brighton .House, Hobson Street, when his right hand was caught between some oil barrels. He was working on the Pukeko at Prince’s Wharf.
