PARTIAL ECLIPSE DESTROYED
ACCIDENT AT AVONDALE While galloping at Avondale yesterday morning Partial Eclipse broke a leg and was subsequently destroyed. It was decidedly unfortunate for owner-trainer S. G. Lindsay, for Partial Eclipse was a very speedy mare and had won several hack races, although over further than sprint journeys and she vas beaten. Partial Eclipse was a five-year-old by Nassau from Sibford, hence a halfsister to the Railway Handicap winner,
