PRINCE EDWARD

“Blackmail,” the big special attraction at the Prince Edward Theatre from this evening, is the first British talkie to be shown here and is a splendidly produced drama of romance and crime in East End London. The cast of London players who enact the leading roles is headed by Anny Ondra and Don Calthrop. The dialogue is clear, the situations tense and the story rolls on with a particularly fast tempo. The Prince Edward programme also includes a number of shorter talkie items.
