COMPLETELY DESTROYED
HUNTLY OUTBREAK From Our Own Corresposdent HUNTLY, Today. A four-roomed house, owned by Mrs. E. E. Codd, and occupied by Mr. Thomas Hart, in Farrell’s Lane, was totally destroyed by fire at 1.30 this morning. Nothing was saved and it was only by the strenuous efforts of the neighbours that the adjoining properties were saved. Mrs. Hart and her family are at present in Gisborne. Mr. Hart was at home alone. The building is insured in the New Zealand Office.
