WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE UNION
| ANNUAL CONFERENCE OPENS Press Association TIMARU, Thursday. The annual New Zealand convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union opened this morning. A large number of delegates was present. Mrs. T E. Taylor, of Christchurch, presided. The visitors were accorded a civic welcome by the Mayor, Mr. W. Anglancl. The financial statement showed a satisfactory credit balance.
