PONSGNBY SOCCER CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING HELD At the annual meeting of the Ponsonby Association Football Club there was a recc'd attendance of members, and Mr. R. M. Beswick, vice-president, occupied the chair in the absence of Mr. George Hunt, the popular president of the club, who was abseut through illness. A resolution was passed sympathising with Mr. Hunt, and hoping for his speedy recovery to health and strength. The annual report and balance sheet showed the club to be in a prosperous condition. The teams in all the grades did well last season, and the prospects for the coming one are very bright. Many players who had gone to other clubs have returned to the fold, and would again wear the popular blue-and-black of one of the parent clubs of Auckland Soccer. The election of officers was proceeded with, and the following were elected: President, Mr. Geo. Hunt; additions to vice-presidents, Messrs. C. Russell, A. Mitchell, R. Smythe, S. Phillipson, D. McGregor, W. Dawson, L. Margate, A. Fraser; secretary, Mr. L. Downes: assistant secretary, Mr. A. Forman; auditor, Mr. G. E. Downes; treasurer, Mr. S. Young: management committee, Messrs. A. Skelton. Mitchell, Dimmery, Osborne. Anderson, Innes, and Fraser: senior division delegate. Mr. N. Anderson; junior division j delegate, Mr. S. Young: selection coml mittee, Messrs. Anderson, Mitchell, and Osborne.
