R. McKean. S.M., for sentence. Alder Francis Walding, a labourer, aged 24, was admitted to probation for three years and ordered to make restitution of £5. Frederick George Lester was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment on one charge and admitted to three years’ probation on the second charge. He was ordered to make restitution of £1 10-s. Passing sentence, the magistrate remarked that "Walding, who had been on probation before, had behaved satisfactorily under supervision.
