DR. M. AXFORD, of Auckland, who has spent the past three years carrying out post-graduate work in England, returned this morning on the Ulimaroa. Dr. Axford, who is a graduate of the Otago University, is now an F.R.C.S. (England). For some time he acted as resident surgical officer of the South Devon and East Cornwall Hospital at Plymouth.
