BRITISH RUGBY TOUR PROFITS IN AUSTRALIA Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union a letter was received from the Queensland Rugby Union asking for reduction upon the fifty-fifty terms asked for a visit of the British team to Brisbane. It was decided to inform the Queensland Union that if the Australian matches played by the British team showed a loss, and the New Zealand matches a profit, the New Zealand Union would be prepared to review the terms. The Bay of Plenty Union applied for a match against the British team at Rotorua. It was decided to reply that the itinerary had already been drawn up, but that the question of the British team playing an unofficial game at Rotorua would he placed before the visitors.

The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. A. Steele; president, Mr. TV. Dickson; hon. secretary, Mr. E. J. MacDonald; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Ryan; selectors, Messrs. R. Dickson. TAUPIRI CLUB From Our Own Correspondent TAUPIRI, Today. The annual meeting of the Taupiri Rugby Football Club was held in the hall on Thursday, Mr. Tapper being elected to the chair.
