INFIRMARY ENTERTAINMENT

A fine programme of music and elocution, arranged by Miss Winifred Cooke, was enjoyed by the inmates ol the Epsom infirmary last evening under the auspices of the Onehunga branch of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary. Mr. Gerald Lee acted as stage manager and the following artists received hearty applause from a large audienceThe Asquiths, Misses W. Cooke, S Stac.poole, ,T. Marsden, M. Thomson. Daphne Higham and J. Asquith, and Mr. John O’Malley. Miss W. Cooke acted as accompanist. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the artists.
