REUNION EVENING
KING'S EMPIRE VETERANS The annual reunion was held by the King’s Empire Veterans and friends last evening in the form of a social evening. About eighty were present, and the 0.C., Captain James Stichbury, presided. A concert arranged by Mr. Leo Whitaker and Miss Vera Hutchison passed the early part of the evening. Among items given were a sopg, with banjo accompaniment, by Captain Stichbury, and a recitation by the president, Lieutenant G. H. Powley. Among the veterans were Mr. E. H. Sharp, representing the Returned Soldiers’ Association, who spoke briefly, and Major T. P. Halpin. After the entertainment, supper was served, and the veterans chatted about Old times.
