Draught Horse.—Clydesdale Horse Society’s silver medal, for best Clydesdale yearling or two-year-old filly: A. IlcNicol and Company’s Clevedon Beth. Trophy presented by the trustees. of the J. H. M. Carpenter memorial fund for champion town horse: Northern Roller Milling Company’s Jack. W. F. Massey Perpetual Memorial Cup, for most points in the draught horse section: A. McNieol and Co. Walker and Hall rose bowl, for champion draught mare or filly,: A. McNicol and Company’s Flower of Twizell. Gold medal presented by Mr. R. D. Knight for mare and two progeny: A. McNicol and Company’s Auricula. W. Cooke siiver perpetual challenge cup, for champion blacksmith: J. Fleming. Milking Shorthorn Cattle. —Grant perpetual cup and Mears’ memorial cup, for most points in the Milking Shorthorn section: J. McGowan (35 points), 1; R. D. Duxfield (30 points), 2. Employers’ Association silver challenge cup, for two-year-ling heifers: J. McGowan’s Coldstream Olive and Coldstream Winning Hit. Taupiri Coal Mines silver challenge cup, for champion Milking Shorthorn cow, bred by exhibitor: R. D. Duxfield’s Horotiu Winnie (won outright). Friesian Cattle. —Gold medal presented by the New Zealand Friesian Association for most points in the Friesian section: Hobson Farm, Ltd. (39 points); Piri Land Co., 2. Hodge Cup, for bull and two female progeny: Hobson Farm’s Hobson Ensign Pontiac and two daughters. Johnston trophy, for Friesian breeder’s group: Hobson Farm’s Hobson Ensign Pontiac and three females. . _ _ . Ayrshire Cattle. —Points prizes: C. Bailey (48 points); T. M. Thompson, sen., 2. Jersey Cattle. —Dell Cup, for most points in the Jersey section: W. H. Miers (32 points); A. E. Watkin (30 points), 2. Christie Cup, for Jersey parish class, yearling heifer: A. E. Watkin. Manufacturers’ Association Cup, for two yearling heifers: F. S. Veale. Dairy Section. —Lovell and Christmas metropolitan butter-fat challenge cup: Hobson Farm, Ltd. , , Fat Stock. —Saleyards’ perpetual challenge cup, for most points in fat stock classes: Neil Reed (53 points); L. Sisam (43 points), 2. Sheep.—Auckland A. and P. perpetual cup, for most points in the sheep section: G. R. Hutchinson (78 points); W. C. Knight, 2. Southdown Sheep Society s gold medal, for best two-tooth Southdown ram: H. McCarroll. Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company’s special prize for pen of three two-tooth pedigree Southdown rams: G. R- Hutchinson. Trophy for most points in the Southdown section: G. R. Hutchinson (78 points). Ryeland Sheep Society’s special prize: K. D. Orr. Pig-s.—Yelchich Cup, for most points in Berkshire pigs: Ruakura Farm of Instruction (28 points); J. Rock (21 points), 2. Anderson Cup, for champion large white boar: C. S. Mexted’s Tamaki Canadian Sergeant. Carr Cup, for best Tamworth sow: A. E. Bickle’s Whata Rita. The “Old Stone Jug’’ perpetual cup, for most points in the pig section: T. M. Davis (52 points); Ruakura Farm of Instruction (46 points), 2. „ , Calf Club Section. —Trophy presented by Mr. A. J. Stratford, for best calf: Ray Booker’s Louise. Home Industries Section: Gas Cooker presented by the Auckland Gas Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs. W. R. Brinsley and Co.: Mrs. A. O. Smith. Rabbits. —Special prize for pair of Angoras, under 12 weeks: Fur Farms, Ltd., Nev; Zealand Smallholder’s trophy for best rabbit in the show: 'Fur Farms, Ltd. Auckland Fur Club’s trophy for the best New Zealand-bred rabbit, 6 months or under: J. Reilly. New Zealand Smallholder’s special prize for .pair of Chinchillas under 12 weeks: Mesdames Gray and Bartlet. Wood-chopping.—Plumb racing axes, presented by the Plumb Axe Co. of America: H. McCormick and T. Noble.
