FIRE AT TE KUITI

PRIVATE HOSPITAL DESTROYED FIRE BRIGADE HANDICAPPED Press Association TE KUITI, Today. Fire totally destroyed a six-roomed dwelling and contents in Massey Street used as a private hospital, at 2.45 this morning. The proprietress, Nurse Boyle, and her husband were the only occupants and were to have movffd today to Otorohanga. The Are had a strong hold when the brigade arrived, but the dead end of the main allowed of only one full pressure hose being brought to hear on it. The building was insured foi £1,200 in the London and Lancashire Office, and the contents for £4OO in the New Zealand Insurance Office.
