MINISTERS’ MOVEMENTS

DEPUTATIONS RECEIVED Tlie Hon. E. A. Hansom. Minister of Public Works, travelled from Helensville to Paparoa yesterday in the course of a tour of inspection of the Northern roads. At a number of points, deputations were received, and main highways discussed, and also local roading requirements. The Minister spent the night at Matakohe, and today he will travel to Dargaville and inspect a number of roads en route. The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, was one of the speakers at the Town Hall last evening on behalf of the midwifery campaign. Ho will visit the Mental Hospital at Avondale today. He received, a number of deputations at the Mount Eden Borough Council Chambers this morning. The Minister expects to leave for Wellington this evening.
