N.Z. “ARMY” CONGRESS

COMMISSIONER WILSON ARRIVES REPRESENTS GENERAL Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Commissioner Wilson, 0.8. E., of the Salvation Army, arrived today from London to attend the annual congress of the Army, beginning on March 5. He comes as General Higgins’s representative. Later he goes on to the Australian States to attend similar gatherings. Commissioner Wilson is one of the seven leading men in the Army who at the recent crisis brought about by General Booth’s illness, took the responsibility of acting on the provisions of the deed poll and called the High Council together. He has given his whole life service to the Army.
