FOUR HURT IN CAR CRASH
V/'HKLE STRIKES POLE from Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. A car carrying a party on its way home from a dance at 2 o’clock on .Sunday morning left the road and crashed into a telegraph pole on the Hutt Road. The driver and three occupants were all injured and are now in hospital.. The four occupants were Miss Joyce Knight, of Adams Terrace; Miss M. Tibbs, of Evans Bay Road; Mr. William Priestley, of Cuba Street, and Mr. Aubrie Leslie Lister, of Mouat Street. The impact between the car and the pole was so great that the pole was strapped off IS inches above the ground.
