MINISTERIAL TOUR
HON. E. A. RANSOM VISITS NORTH AUCKLAND RAILWAY WORK AND ROADS Commencing next Wednesday, the I-lon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Public Works, will tour for a week in the North Auckland district. On Thursday, March 6, the Minister will return to open the new building of the Auckland Electric Power Board. The Minister will arrive in Auckland next Sunday, remaining in the city cn Monday and Tuesday. He will leave for the Helensville district on Wednesday morning and will spend the evening at the Parakai Springs. On the following day the Minister will proceed to Paparoa, thence to Tokatoka and Tangaihi on Friday. Friday evening will be spent in Dargaville and on Saturday the Minister will inspect railway work on the DargaviHe branch. From Tangiteroria he will return in the afternoon to Dargaville via Kirikopuni, Parakao Road and Tangowaliine. On Monday, March 3, the Minister will proceed to Kaihu and by way of Tutamoe, Waimatenui and Opoutelce Bridges to Whangarei. He will go to Wellsford and on to Warkworth, via Whangaripo and Matakana, on Tuesday, and on Wednesday he will complete his journey through Waiwera Lo Auckland. The Minister will officially open the new building of the Auckland ElectricPower Board on the Thursday. On the Frida}' he will proceed to Rotorua, where he will open the Rotorua County Council’s new building. lie will make an inspection of works at Arapuni on Saturday and will return to Wellington from Frankton Junction on the following day.
