There will be two big talkies on the one programme, both of them most exciting underworld thrillers. The first will be “Acquitted,” a powerful tale of a murder trial, starring Margaret Livingston, Lloyd Hughes and Sam Hardy. The second attraction will be “Light Fingers,” a fascinating story of a clever bank robber whose depredations baffled the police of the world. lan Keith is the star, and is supported by Dorothy Revier. Thrilling motor-car racing scenes form one of the chief features in “Burning Up,” Richard Arlen’s first starring talkie picture. Much of the action is being filmed on one of the fastest dirt tracks in Southern Calif ornia.
