TRAFFIC INSPECTION
SOUTH AUCKLAND COUNTIES UNITE
£2,000 FOR FIRST YEAR From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. Six county councils in the South Auckland district decided to unite in a group traffic inspection scheme at a conference in Hamilton today. Four inspectors will be appointed to control the area. The inspectors will provide their own cars, the counties to pay the running expenses. Hamilton has been fixed as the headquarters of the area, and the chairmen of the various counties were appointed members of a committee to supervise.- The expenditure for the first year was fixed tentatively at £2,000, which will be allocated as follows on a percentage basis: CoLinties: Matamata, 15; Piako, 15; Waikato, 19; Waipa. 17; Raglan, 8; Otorohanga, 8. Boroughs: To Awa-. mutu, 3: Cambridge, 3; Ngaruawahia, 2; Huntly, 2; Morrinsville, 3; Matamata, 2; Te Aroha, 3.
