PORTFOLIOS TAKEN OVER Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. During the absence of the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Defence and Marine in Western Samoa, the portfolio of the Defence will be administered by the Hon. P. A. de la Perelle, and that of Marine oy the Hon. W. A. Veitch. Mr. Cobbe left by the Maui Pomare from Auckland yesterday and expects to be absent about six weeks.
