KIRK-WINDEYER GOLF CUP

FIVE PLAYERS NOMINATED Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. The council of the New Zealand Golf Association this afternoon chose the following five players for the KirkWindeyer Cup match: —J. L. Black (Hamilton). T* H. Horton (Masterton), K. Ross (Otago), A. D. S. Duncan (Wellington) and E. M. Macfarlane (Christchurch ). The team of four will be picked from those five before the day of the match, which will be played at Shirley links, Christchurch, on Thursday, April 17. Prior to that date a match or matches will be played between the Australian Stato teams, to decide which State shall play New Zealand for the cup.
