Nicholson was mad© a life member of the association. A'ery good entries have been received for the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association’s annual championship and handicap tournaments which commence at the Ngatea Club’s courts on Saturday next. The tournament will probably take three Saturdays to complete. Entries for the championship events are more numerous than in previous years. It is expected that the Auckland Association will send a team to play Hauraki Plains at Ngitea on March 1.
