MORRINSVILLE BRIDE CHOOSES FROCK OF PALEST PINK SATIN
DICKENS—BARLOW A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Morrinsville, on Wednesday morning, when Miss Ella Barlow, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. U. Barlow, of Motumaoho. was married to Mr. William Frederick Dickens, youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. H. Dickens, of Pahiatua.
The ceremony was performed by Canon TI. It. B. Gillespie, the recentlyappointed vicar of Morrinsville, this being the first wedding at which he had officiated since coming to Morrinsville.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore an uneven length frock of pale pink satin trimmed with pearls. Her veil was of pink tulle to tone, and she carried a bouquet of white cactus dahlias and Yoses and maiden hair fern.
In attendance as bridesmaid was her youngest sister, Miss Rangi, Barlow, whose frock was of mauve satin, with cape collar 01 white georgette and veil of mauve tulle. Her bouquet was of mauvo flowers.
The little flower girls, Amuri Wooderson and Barbara Washbourne. wore pale green and apricot crepe de chine respectively, and carried posies of everlasting flowers.
The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Jack Barlow, brother of the bride.
After the ceremony over GO guests were entertained by the bride's parents at their residence. Mrs. Barlow was wearing a frock of navy blue satin beaute and Airs C. H. Dickens, mother of the bridegroom, black georgette.
