REMUERA WEDDING

BRIDE IN CASCADED FROCK SHAW—MORLAND The wedding took place at St. Mark’9 Church, Remuera, on Thursday, January 30, of Ellen Cordelia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Morland, of Paeroa, to Reginald Thomas, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Shaw, of Paeroa. The Rev. E. C. Cruiekshank performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory georgette with waterfall cascades outlined in silver lace, her Moniton lace veil bein gheld in position with a coronet of orange blossoms. Mrs. T. L. Dawson, the bride’s sister, attended as matron of honour, wearing a flowered ninon frock in slmdes of apricot and pale green, with which she wore a hat of apricot and green. Miss Rita Shaw, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid, was attired in mauve flowered ninon, with touches of apricot and green, and picture hat. All carried beautiful shower bouquets of flowers to tone with the frocks.' Mr. Eric Menzies acted as best ! man and Mr. Jeff Morland as groomsman.

After the wedding a reception was held at the residence of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Le Manquais, 26 'Williamson Street. Epsom, where Mrs. Morland received the guests wearing a frock of black silk marocain and black hat with touches of. red.

The bridegroom's mother was attired in navy blue crepe de chine with a black hat.
