Dr. Martin. late Government medical officer in the Solomon Islands, Mates that lack of serum resulted in the death of approximately 250 natives from iufantile paralysis during the recent epidemic. With proper supplies these might have been reduced to under 50. and the amount of disablement lessened proportionately.
