SOUTH ISLAND LINE
NEW ROUTE DEFINED Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. A proclamation defining the middle line of portion of the South Island Main Trunk railway was gazetted tonight. The distance proclaimed is 6 miles SS chains. Publication of this notice will enable the Public Works Department to proceed at once with the construction of the railroad.
