MOTOR-CYCLISTS HURT
Injuries to his head were suffered by a pillion-rider, Mr. Roy Bowden, aged 19, as the result of being thrown to the ground -when the motor-cycle he was riding on struck a dog in Calliope Road, Devonport, early last evening. The injured youth, who lives at 138 Calliope Road, was removed to the Public Hospital. His. condition this morning was satisfactory. The rider escaped with minor abrasions.
