MODEL YACHT NOTES

The Orakei Club’s results last Saturday were:—Boys’ Race: Miss Orakei, lOsec, 1; Venus, 75sec, 2; Silver Wing, 60sec, 3. Mr. Darrach, official handicapper for the open handicap on January 29, has forwarded the handicaps as follows:—Venus, Bmin; Miss Durant, 6min; Rainbow, smin; Silver Wing, White Wings, 2imin; Nigger, Xpdncy, Silver Bell, scratch. The entries are highly satisfactory, both in regard to numbers and class of boats. It is regrettable that Aracataca is missing as this boat must have stood a good chance in the final. Given a fine day the racing should be highly successful.
