DISTRICT PLAYERS ONLY

WAIKATO TEAM TO PLAY M.C.C. CRICKETERS From Our Own Correspondent. HAMILTON, Friday. The team to represent South Auckland against the M.C.C. at Hamilton on February 19 and 20 will consist solely of players from the Waikato district and will not include cricketers from outside provincial associations, as a result of the decision of the Management Committee of the Waikato Cricket Association last night. A motion that the team include three outsiders, if possible Merritt, Blunt or Page, was defeated by one vote.
