TO RETAIN SAMOA
AGREEMENT REACHED ON WAR PROPERTIES NEW ZEALAND’S POSITION Times Cable. LONDON, Saturday. A message from The Hague says it was announced there that agreements have been definitely concluded between Germany, Australia and New Zealand regarding the liquidation of property. No details of the agreements have been disclosed except that both Australia and New Zealand will return unliquidated property and that New Zealand is to retain the Samoan property and property taken over by the State. In the case of Australia it is understood that about £300,000 is involved.
