DEPRESSED BY LOSSES
RUBBER MAGNATE FOUND SHOT IN LONDON VERDICT OF SUICIDE LONDON, Tuesday. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned at the inquest concerning the death of Mr. Thomas Martin Steuart, a director of many rubber plantation companies, and one of the best-known men in the City of London rubber circles, who was found shot dead at his homo at Purley on January 10. It was stated in evidence that he was overwhelmed by financial losses caused by the Hatry collapse and the crash on Wall Street.
