BOUQUET OF LILIES
HARDS—JACKSON The wedding was celebrated in the Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, recently, of Elaine Bavinia, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. IT. Jackson, of Clevedon Road, Otahuhu, to Sidney Frank Hards. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, and was charmingly frocked in ivory crepe de chine. Her beautifully embroidered tulle veil fell in soft folds from a coronet of orange blossom and pearls, and formed a train. She carried a bouquet of Christmas lilies tied with streamers of ivory ribbon. Miss Vera Hards attended the bride, wearing a frock of apricot crepe de chine, with accordion-pleated overskirt of deeper shade. Her bouquet was of cream and pink roses. Bittle Borna Hards, dressed in a dainty frock of palest pink crepe de chine, trimmed with pale green, and carrying a basket of pink sweet peas, acted as flower-girl. Mr. Albert Jackson, brother of the bride, was best man, and the Rev. C. B. W. Seton was the officiating minister.
A reception was later held in Kingsforci’s Hall, where Miss Jackson, frocked in paeon blue crepe de chine, and hat to tone, received the guests.
Among those present were:—Mesdames Hards (New Lynn), Wright (Te Aroha), W. Fitzgerald (Te Aroha), Bawrence, B. Hards, Simons, King, Clews (Pukekohe), Burton, Matheson, Petrie, Terrill, Searby, G. Searby; Misses P. Thomas (Thames), Elsie King, Nadia Simons, M. Bentley, V. Simons, A. Whale, I. Ball, I. Whale.
