A HARMONY OF PINK AND BLUE

EDMONDS—HUNTER A pretty wedding was celebrated in the Beresford Street Congregational Church on Wednesday evening, when Doris, only daughter of Mrs. J. W. Hunter, of Grey j Lynn, was married to George Henry, fifth son of Mrs. H. Edmonds. of Northcote. The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher performed the ceremony. The church had born decorated in Christian Endeavour colours, blue and Sold, by friends and Endeavourers of the Church. Entering the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. E. Hunter, the bride wore a charming frock of ivory georgette, trimmed with orange blossom. Her veil was of brussels net held in place with clusters of orange blossom and was exquisitely embroidered, forming a graceful train. She carried a shower bouquet of white blossoms. The bridesmaid, Miss Irene Barber, wore a pretty frock of forget-me-not blue satin beaute, and a large buff coloured crinoline hat. Her bouquet was of pale pink carnations. Little Naomi Hunter, niece of the bride, made a charming little flower girl. She wore a dainty frock of pale pink crepe de chine with pale blue ribbon trimmings, and carried a basket of pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. W. Edmonds, and Mr. (J. R. Edmonds officiated at the organ. The reception was held in the Beresford Street school hall. Mrs. Hunter received her guests wearing a dress of navy blue satin beaut© relieved with fawn, and a hat to tone. Her bouquet was of red carnations. Mrs. Edmonds wore a black silk coat over a lavender crepe de chine frock, and a black hat. She carried a lavender bouquet. Among the guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. H. J-iunter, Mr. and Mrs. H. Hadfield, Miss Edmonds, Mr. J. B. Edmonds, Mrs. Roache, Mrs. A. Bridgman, Mr. and Mrs. A. Fisher, Mr. R. H.

Fisher, Mr. G. Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. W. Bridgman, Miss Fielder, Mrs. Simpson, Miss Wilson, Miss Bell, Miss Franks, Miss Sinclair, Miss Jack, the Rev. L. and Mrs. Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. Craig, Mr. and Mrs. Day, Mrs. and Miss Barber, Mrs. Jfetherington, Mr. Blomfield, Miss Pickering, Miss Crum pier and Mr. Kemp. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many telegrams of congratulation. including cables from Australia and England.
