MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS

MAN FRACTURES ARM Mr. K. G. Blumenthal, of Karaka Street. Avondale South, received a fracture of an arm when a light car in -which he ■ was travelling overturned as the result of a tyre bursting ou the Great North Road at about six o’clock last evening. It was fortunate that at the time of the accident one of the St. John Ambulance vehicles was just in the rear- and assistance was immediately given. After receiving treatment the injured man entered the ambulance and was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital.

The driver. Mr, Donald, was uninjured and the car, which was little damaged, was driven away.
