BODY IN BATHROOM DISCOVERY AT WANGANUI I*reus Association WANGANUI, Tuesday. Arthur Osborne Smith, a retail furniture dealer, who resided at 19 Young Street, Wanganui Isast, was found in the bathroom at liis house this afternoon with his throat cut. A razor was discovered nearby. He was 29 years of age. Just after bis father-in-law, Samuel Priest, left the house, sounds of struggling were heard. Priest returned hastily, ancl on arrival at the bathroom found Smith. A doctor was summoned, but the man was dead. Deceased was to have been married today, but there was a last-minute hitch in the arrangements. He was a widower, his wife having died some years ago. He left New' Zealand with the 29tli Reinforcements, seeing service in France. He was under IS years of age when he went into camp.
