CHRISTIAN CONVENTION
MEETINGS AT CAMBRIDGE From Our Oxen Correspondent CAMBRIDGE, Today. The sixth annual United Christian Convention commenced here on Thursday, and will continue till New Year’s Day. More than 100 members from all parts of the North Island are in attendance. Meetings are being well attended, and many local residents are taking part. The Rev. A. S. Wilson, Baptist Church, Auckland, is acting-chairman in the absence of the Rev. E. Harries. On Thursday evening a welcome meeting was held. The Deputy-Mayor, Mr. W. G. Care, extended a civic welcome. and was supported by the Rev. C. W. Clark. . Rev. H. G. Hercus returned thanks, also the camp father, Rev. Jas. Gumming.
