SPECIAL SERVICES

BROADCASTS BY IYA Three special Sunday morning services at 9 a.m. for holiday-makers have been arranged by station IYA, and will be broadcast on January 5 and 19, and on February 2. The first service will be conducted by the Methodists, the second by the Church of England and the third by the Presbyterians. These broadcasts are for church people at the seaside or camping too far away to attend a regular service. Many thousands of radio sets have been installed in baches throughout the Dominion, or are light enough to be carried from place to place. The usual church service broadcasts do not suit holiday-makers, however, and the company accordingly made arrangements for early sessions.
