NEW OTAHUHU SCHOOL

ADDITIONS AT CLEVEDON The Auckland Education Board has received advice that the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore. has authorised grants for the erection of a new primary school at Otahuhu South a nd additions to the school at Clevedon. The new school at Otahuhu is being erected to meet the needs of the rapidly growing district. The present school is one of the largest under the board's control, but it is not sufficient to meet the demands on its capacity, nnd the erection of the new' school will Probably be commenced early in the New Year. Overcrowding at Clevedon has made additions to the school •eceesary.
