Motor-Car Smashed At Railway Crossing
DRIVER IN HOSPITAL CRASH NEAR TE AROHA From Our Own Correspondent TE AROHA, Today.
A railway accident occurred just after midnight at the Herriesville crossing when a five-seater saloon car, driven by Mr. Samuel Campbell, of Waihou, collided with the late train from Frankton and was badly smashed. The chassis of the car is beyond repair and the body and wheels are considerably damaged. Mr. Campbell was taken to Norana Hospital suffering from head and face injuries. No other passengers were in the car.
