INFLUENCE OF GOOD FARMING Allegations that hardship is imposed on certain farmers by the regulations which necessitate dipping cattle in the North every time prior to offering for sale at public yards were made at an executive meeting of the Auckland Provincial Branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union last evening. It was decided to make representations that dipping only be compulsory when cattle are to be sent out of a district. It was stated by several members that proper farming and a free use of fertilisers went a long way to combating the tick.
