FAREWELL TEA
MRS. E. KIRBY IS ENTERTAINED BY HER FRIENDS Mrs. Harrison, assisted by Mrs. Wengdal, entertained a number ot friends at an 'Sft.ernoon tea at the Tudor Rooms on Friday, in honour of Mrs. E. Kirby, who is leaving by the Marama next Friday to take up her residence in Sydney. The table was charmingly decorated in shades of pink and green. Mrs. I-Xarrison was frocked in alice blue crepe de chine, with hat to tone, and Mrs. Wengdal wore cherry georgette with uneven petalled skirt, and black bangkok hat. Mrs. E. Kirby was wearing a black and canary ensemble suit with hat to tone. Others present were:—Mrs. S. Beattie, Mrs. W. Rawlinson, Mrs. Bert Jones, Mrs. E. Field, Mrs. Stanley, Mrs, Stewart, Mrs. Olsen, Mrs. Hillyer, Mrs. Menzies, Mrs. A. E. Moore, Mrs. Prisling, Mrs. Fuller, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Kirby, sen., Mrs. Luks and Mrs. Kyd.
