PRESENTATION OF DIPLOMAS The presentation of diplomas to successful students at the Myers Free Kindergarten last evening was largely attended. The students to complete their two years’ training are as follow:—Miss Rhoda Robertson, Miss Feggy Ahlfeld and Miss Meg Simpson, who received diplomas with honours; Miss Joyce ITorsley, Miss Kathleen Stenson, Miss Margaret Wilkie and Miss Ruth Sutherland, diplomas. Mr. C. J. Tunks, who occupied the chair, congratulated the students on their success in this, the 22nd year of the Kindergarten Association. Diplomas were presented by Mrs. Gordon. Miss Colegrove, the principal, read the annual report and congratulated tho girls upon their well-merited success. Much help had been derived by the students from their visits to the State schools, and from lectures given by Miss McLean, of Karitane Hospital. Their patron, Lady Alice Fergusson, had paid them a much-appreciated visit, at the beginning of the year. It was stated that Miss Smallfteld had been granted a year’s leave of absence. Misses Fouke and R. Sutherland had been appointed to act as director and assistant respectively, and Miss Meg Simpson had been appointed assistant at the Otahuhu School. Bouquets were presented to Miss Colegrove and to Mrs. Gordon. At the conclusion, supper was served and the guests inspected the practical work of tho students.
